It would take a Hornet 30 citadel bomb hits to sink a Yamato, probably many more torpedo hits, a Kaga could accomplish it in 3 torp squadrons.assuming the Yam had no supporting AA ships. Hornets planes are slow, low hp AND they hit like a fluffy pillow. A Kaga in a T10 match can still put up the numbers if you are a decent CV player. Thus, its not good for commander or credit grinding. I would hesitate to use any bonuses on it because if you are faced with multiple T10 cruisers the only planes that will make it to target are the b25's. As others have suggested, the Kaga is a good purchase, I certainly dont regret it at all.at least the Hornet was nearly free for me. While I dont own the Chk, it might be the better purchase if you are inclined to do so. The Hornet, while useable is probably the worst prem T8 CV and therefore quite possibly worse than Aquila. The question is: Is Aquila better than Chkalov and Hornet? Im planning to buy one in a long term
